There is a deep hunger in the human heart for authentic connection with others.  The quality of relationships in organizations may serve to satisfy this hunger or, more likely, leave us still yearning for something more.

Community Building, a process described by M. Scott Peck in his books, A Different Drum and A World Waiting To Be Born, offers one path toward the experience of authentic human relationship that can make our group experience more satisfying and our organizations more effective.

Participants in a Community Building Workshop have the opportunity to experience and practice patterns of communication that can lead to a deeper level of self-acceptance and acceptance of others.  Skills learned in this context help people move past the inevitable "sticking points" in relationships so that groups can function more effectively in accomplishing tasks together.

This process was under the stewardship of The Foundation For Community Encouragement (FCE) for 18 years.  FCE ceased operations at the close of 2001.  Transformational Partnerships can make Community Building available to your group or organization.

Options available include:

Half or full day introduction to Community Building

Two or three day Community Building circle

Community Building experience customized for your group or organization

Coaching for leaders introducing Community Building in their contexts
